The methods of postcard mailers have evolved over the years, yet many real estate professionals choose to use the same "tried and true" methods. If the return on investment for your marketing dollars are simply not what they used to be, maybe it is time to move your postcards up a notch.
The classic postcard certainly does not catch the eye. Today, there are advanced printing techniques and custom postcards available for the real estate professional. These cards not only look better, but they represent the new age clients you are looking to attract.
Another huge change can be made in the copy used on the postcard. The potential client does not want to read how they need to contact you in order to buy or sell a home. They want information that is going to help them and provide them with something more than a sales pitch. This information, including online resources and the address to your online website, will need to be placed carefully in line with a great call to action, but in a more subtle manner. The idea is to get the potential client to your website where they will find more information about you and your services.
The postcard campaign is an effective campaign as long as the card does not go directly in the trash. Grabbing the attention of the potential client can sometimes be as easy as changing the cards color, style or even the font. Keep changing it up and you will see a great return on your marketing money.
